Stories in Stone: Writing the Southwestern Mystery

Susan Cummins Miller (www.susancumminsmiller.com) writes the Frankie McFarlane mystery series, which stars a geologist whose work entangles her in murders, both recent and ancient.  Prior to writing full-time — she is a former Pima County Writer in Residence — Susan studied and worked as a geologist.  She edited an anthology of frontier women authors and has published numerous poems, short stories and essays.  Click here to watch a recording of her presentation.
